Summary

This is a minor release to upgrade Haventec IAM from version 19.02 and impacts those applications using Haventec IAM with distributed tracing is enabled

 

Change Log

  • [Enhancement] Logs to contain traceid and spanid when distributed tracing is enabled

Pre-requisites

  1. Stop the Haventec IAM server.
  2. Generate a backup of the IAM database.

Release Steps

  1. Verify pre-release system integrity by
    • Perform system functional tests
    • Check that there are no errors in logs
    • Verify performance and response times are expected
  2. Perform the release to deploy IAM 19.0.2.1
  3. Verify post-release system integrity by:
    • Perform system functional tests
    • Check that there are no errors in logs
    • Verify performance and response times are expected.
  4. Log in to Haventec IAM and set the Admin Console Theme to haventec. This option can be found in Master realm settings - Themes. 

Rollback Steps

  1. Stop the Haventec IAM server.
  2. Restore the database to previous version.
  3. Deploy previous version of Haventec IAM
