Release 2.0.0

Console 2.0.0 is a major release of the Console frontend, which introduces the following:

• A brand new design, based on latest Haventec branding
• A redesigned Application wizard that auto-provisions Haventec IAM Applications
• Integrated Help
• Usage Reports
• Better administration of Platform Admin users

While the frontend has changed, Console 2.0 is backward compatible with previous versions - existing functionality has not been changed.

Additionally the old Console will still be available - type /v1/ after the URL to access the original Console screens.

Noteworthy Considerations

• In order to use the Haventec IAM auto-provisioning, you must configure a Service Admin account as Platform Admin. See Haventec IAM ( Keycloak ) Service Account creation steps
  
  
• The urls in some emails sent from Console have now changed, e.g.:
  https://console.haventec.com/activate-user?username=[username]&activation-token=[code]
  is now
  https://console.haventec.com/account/activate-user?username=[username]&activation-token=[code]

Release Steps

1. Verify pre-release system integrity by
   1. Perform system functional tests
   2. Check that there are no errors in logs
   3. Verify performance and response times are expected
2. Perform the release to deploy Console 2.0.0

   1. Perform system functional tests
   2. Check that there are no errors in logs
   3. Verify performance and response times are expected.

Rollback Steps

1. Deploy previous version of Console
2. Verify system integrity by:
   1. Perform system functional tests
   2. Check that there are no errors in logs
   3. Verify performance and response times are expected.
