During Step 1c: Which IAM Identity & Access Management Solution will you use? after you have selected What IAM Solution you will use, you will be prompted to select your First Broker Login Review Profile Option.
To let application users authenticate with your application, Haventec Console creates a realm and other necessary resources and sets the configuration options in Haventec Identity Asset Management (IAM) for your application being created.
One of the core configuration steps is the setting the First Broker Login Review Profile Option. This step does is configure if user details such as username, email, first name and last name are requested when the user logs in to the system for the first time.
There are three options you can select: REQUIRED, ALTERNATIVE and DISABLED.
- DISABLED: This is default and must be set unless you use the Java SDK. This setting means the user does NOT see the Review Profile page while they log in for the first time.
- REQUIRED: This setting means the user is asked to review the above mentioned user details. Select this option if you wish to use the Java SDK for password migration flow.
- ALTERNATIVE: This is currently not supported by Haventec.
When you choose Haventec IAM while creating an application in Haventec Console, you get to choose one of these options. You can choose either one and Haventec IAM will be configured accordingly. However, if you did not choose any option on Haventec Console, Haventec IAM will be left with the default configuration of "DISABLED".
