Step 2c: Create Application Name

On this page you will enter a name and description for your application.

• Enter the following:
  • Application Name: This is used to identify the application in the system.
  • Description: This provides details about the application.
  • Valid Domain List: For Haventec IAM applications, this is the list of domains of your application that are valid to be redirected to once authentication is complete. See below for details.

Valid Domain list

This is the domain, or domains, of your app that are using Haventec, or are valid to be redirected to.

So, for example, if your app is MyWidget, and the domain is mywidget.com, then the Valid domains list is

If you are still in development, and not sure what your domain is, it is possible to enter '*'. However, this is not a sufficient level of security for a production application, so you will need to set the Valid Domains List in IAM Properties in your Application Settings
